CO₂ & Ammonia Plantroom Fabrication – Whanganui

A complete fabrication package delivering ASME Section IX Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel pressure piping, integrated with a custom-built structural steel skid frame for a Whanganui plantroom

In partnership with Excel Engineering, we successfully fabricated and installed the pressure piping systems and structural framework for a new mixed-refrigerant plant room. This project demanded high-precision pre-fabrication to meet stringent refrigeration standards and strict delivery timelines.

Standards & Quality: Executed to ASME Section IX standards, including a comprehensive Quality Assurance package with full weld mapping and material traceability.

Stainless Steel Piping: Fabrication of Schedule 40 Stainless Steel (A312 TP304L) for the CO₂ circuits. Carbon Steel Piping: Fabrication of Seamless Carbon Steel (A106 Grade B) for the Ammonia circuits. Structural Integration: Fabrication of two complex steel skid frame designed to house vessels, heat exchangers, and interconnecting piping. We also fabricated the structural steel supports for all of the piping.

Core Capabilities Demonstrated: This project serves as a prime example of our ability to deliver a complete fabrication package, combining Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel pressure piping with heavy Structural Steel fabrication to support complex plant infrastructure.
